Johnny has over 20 years in the hospitality service industry, nearly all involving aspects of event management and service. He joined UCI as Catering Director in February, 2013 and seeks to continue to impart his professionalism and experience onto UCI Catering services and Hospitality & Dining as whole. Johnny has worked at local Orange County hotels and the Long Beach
Convention & Entertainment Center, including the Aquarium of the Pacific and has a Bachelor’s degree in Service Management with a minor in Hospitality Enterprise. In his free time, Johnny likes mountain biking, snowboarding and spending time with family.

Carlo has been working in the food industry since he was 16 years old, including experience working for a high-end corporate catering company in New York City for 10 years. Past high-profile events that he has worked were the MTV Awards, The Grammys, Christmas in Rockefeller Center, Hollywood Movie Premier Night parties, and Revlon Aids Walk, which they cater for 10k people, New York Fashion Week, Fundraising Dinner with President Clinton, and all the catering events in Wall Street. Carlo has an AAS degree in Architectural Technology from New York City College of Technology and graduated from the Arts Institute of Orange County with a diploma in The Art of Cooking. He has been with University of California, Irvine for 9 years.
